About Tina

The purpose of my blog is to inspire others to be the best Self you can be. My 1st Bikram class was in 2008 & I thought it would be my first & last class! I attended sporadically for a couple of years & then in June 2010 decided to sign up for the 30 day challenge. That was when my practice changed from being just another form of exercise to a way of life.

Friends always ask what it is that I love about Bikram & put simply it is a whole mind & body workout. I used to love gym classes, running long distances, weights etc but it wasn’t until recently that I realised, all those forms of activities only make you feel good temporarily. The repeated motions, combined with the impact are harmful long term. During a Bikram class you are stretching & simultaneously contracting & elongating every muscle, building strength & flexibility without doing any damage.
